Wife of Texas shooting suspect arrested for helping evade arrest, sheriff says

Woman identified as wife of suspected Texas man Killed five people -After midnight Wednesday, authorities said arrests were made, including a 9-year-old boy, for helping to evade capture.

Divimara Lamar Nava, 52, was charged with “fearing fear of a known felon,” a felony, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement on social media. He is being held on a $250,000 bond, jail records show.

Oropeza was transported and booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged in connection with the shooting deaths of five people, the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office said. He is currently being held in the San Jacinto County Jail, according to jail records. He is being held on a $5 million bond, the sheriff said.
