Tom Sandoval has broken his silence following his and longtime girlfriend Ariana Maddix’s call it quits.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star made a conscious effort to stay quiet after news broke that she and co-star Rachel Lewis were having a “full-on affair” — but finally decided to speak out Friday night.
During his gig at City National Grove in Anaheim, Calif., on Friday, the Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras frontman made a passing comment that raised eyebrows.
“Have you ever been one of the most hated people in America?” the 39-year-old asked the audience Us Weekly.
A Tik Tok Videos As the gig took off, an audience member shouted “Ariana!” could be heard screaming. prompting Sandoval to reply, “We love her.”
Other gig-goers shout, “Cheater!” was heard chanting. Madix’s friend, Lala Kent, took to her Instagram story on Friday to call out those who were going to make a fuss at the event.
The gig came just hours after it emerged that Sandoval and Lewis had been “inappropriately interacting” for months.
Maddicks, said to be “heartbroken” and “blindsided” by the news, kicked Sandoval out of their LA pad.
He loaded his suitcases into a friend’s car and drove away hours before his gig on Friday.
“Ariana was blindsided by the cheating,” an insider told Page Six on Friday, adding that she “doesn’t seem to have any problems” in their relationship.
The news hit Maddicks hard after she developed a friendship with Lewis following her messy split from ex-fiancé James Kennedy in December 2021.
Maddix, 37, came face to face with the harsh reality while sitting front row at Sandoval’s gig Wednesday.
She discovered the “months-long” affair after Sandoval’s phone rang with a revealing video sent from Lewis. People said Friday.
Madix then scrolled through the text thread where he read their history of inappropriate messages. Immediately, she and Sandoval left the scene.
Their affair began in the summer of 2022 when Levi was reportedly sleeping “over Tom and Ariana’s house while Ariana was out of town.”
The news is all the more shocking because Sandoval opened up about his relationship with Maddicks moments before the texts were discovered.
“We’ve definitely had our ups and downs, but I think we’ve been really good at respecting each other,” she told Page Six.
