Footage of the Pixel Fold has appeared in a YouTube ad ahead of an expected announcement at Google I/O later today. Reported by 9to5GoogleThe Unlisted YouTube video Featuring multiple NBA stars and several close-ups of the upcoming Pixel Fold in everyday use.
The link was shared under the caption “Google Pixel x NBA: The Greatest Watch Party”. A tweet It was released on the official Google Pixel account last night. It looks like Google pre-released the link, as the tweet teasingly advised readers to “check back tomorrow.” The tweet also includes a picture of MVP Joel Embiid clearly holding the Pixel crease, so it’s best not to think too much about it.
The video also demonstrates some of its capabilities, in addition to showing Pixel Fold from various angles. At a 90-degree angle, we see plenty of hinge (and bezel) action, with the fold closed, fully open, and partially exposed on the table. A simulated video call featuring Giannis Antetokounmpo demonstrates how the camera feed can seamlessly switch between inside and outside shots.

The NBA has a somewhat established relationship with Google.
